01 -  In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef seasoned with salt and black pepper, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat. 
 02 -  Warm flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable. 
 03 -  Divide cooked beef evenly among tortillas. Layer each with shredded cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, and a drizzle of ketchup. 
 04 -  For additional crispness, fold the tacos and toast in a pan for 1 to 2 minutes per side until lightly golden. 
 05 -  Serve tacos immediately while warm.
