01 -  In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey with diced onion and minced garlic, stirring occasionally until the turkey is fully cooked and onions are translucent. 
 02 -  Incorporate the mixed vegetables and pour in the chicken broth. Stir well and simmer the mixture until the broth thickens slightly and vegetables are heated through. 
 03 -  Season the turkey and vegetable mixture with salt and black pepper to taste, ensuring all components are evenly seasoned. 
 04 -  Transfer the turkey and vegetable mixture into an even layer in a standard baking dish. Gently spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the top to cover completely. 
 05 -  Place the assembled dish in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) and bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the filling bubbles at the edges.
