01 -  In a medium saucepan, blend rolled oats, whole milk, pumpkin purée, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice, and salt. 
 02 -  Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Continue to cook for 7–8 minutes, until oats are soft and mixture thickens. 
 03 -  Spoon the cooked oatmeal evenly into serving bowls. 
 04 -  Drizzle each bowl with maple syrup and sprinkle chopped pecans on top before serving.
