# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It takes almost no effort but tastes like you spent all day in the kitchen.
  • The bacon stays crispy on top even after baking, which is strangely satisfying.
  • You can assemble it hours ahead and just pop it in the oven when people show up.
  • It works with whatever chips or vegetables you have on hand, no judgment.
02 -
  • If your cream cheese is cold and hard, the dip will have lumps no amount of stirring will fix, so let it soften first.
  • Do not skip reserving some bacon for the top, because baked-in bacon loses its crunch and becomes sad and chewy.
  • The dip is best served warm, but if it sits out and cools, just pop it back in the oven for five minutes.
03 -
  • Use a cast iron skillet if you have one, because it keeps the dip warm longer and looks impressive on the table.
  • Grate your own cheese instead of buying pre-shredded, it melts smoother and tastes fresher.
  • If you want extra crispy bacon on top, crumble it right before serving instead of adding it when the dip comes out of the oven.
